We have 8 grass fed/grass finished steers scheduled to be butchered on October 28th. Delivery would be about two and half weeks after that on November 15th. Prices include processing and delivery to a location within 30 miles of Victoria, Texas. The meat will be vacuum packed and the ground beef will be in 1 pound packages. These steers are grass fed/grass finished and are being fed an organic feed at a low rate for the last two months to help add some marbling. They have never been treated with antibiotics or hormones. They have been raised on pasture their entire life.
A $300 deposit will be required before the steers are processed with payment in full required at delivery. Accepted forms of payment are cash or cashiers check.

Freezer Space Information
Typically you would need about 9 cubic feet of space in a chest freezer to store a half of a steer or about 15 cubic feet of space in an upright freezer to store the same half steer. This is because it is more difficult to use all of the space in an upright freezer, but it does provide much easier access to everything.
A quarter steer will fit in two and half filing boxes that you can purchase at office supply stores. The outside dimensions of these boxes are 15.25″ x 12.5″ x 10.25″ tall.
